What is MicroChurch all about?
What a Garfield Memorial MicroChurch IS:
It’s a small weekly gathering of diverse people who are glad to see you when you’re there and who miss you when you’re not.
It’s a small community where you are seen (not invisible), known (not anonymous) and loved (not judged, rejected, or belittled).
It's safe space to connect and love, regardless of what you believe or don’t believe about God and the church.
Most MicroChurches will gather in-person around a table (to eat and/or play games) in a home, a park, or a restaurant. We will also have an online Zoom site.
Whether gathering face-to-face or online, all MicroChurch sites gather to connect diverse people who share a common brokenness, with Jesus.
What a Garfield Memorial MicroChurch IS NOT:
It is not a study group, prayer group, service group or mini worship service.
It is not one more thing to do, accomplish, achieve, support or promote.
It’s not one more obligation to fulfill.
