What to Expect When You Join Us Online
Welcome to Garfield Memorial Church. Thanks for stopping by. This page will tell you everything you need to know about Garfield Church and let you know what to expect if you join us online this weekend.
Who We Are
We are a multi-ethnic, economically diverse church with no more than 52% of worshipers comprising one ethnic group. Our diversity extends into every category you can think of, from age to politics to learning styles.
You can see the different ways to view our services live each Sunday or on demand by clicking here.
What to Expect
When you watch our Sunday services you can expect someone to welcome you to the live stream, about 15-20 minutes of music from a live band, and then a 25-35 minute sermon. Our typical service is around 60 minutes.
What about Music?
Our diverse band plays varying styles from rock to gospel and everything in between. Our live stream music styles may change from week-to-week dependent on what is most appropriate to accommodate social distancing.
What Should I Wear?
Well, we'll leave that up to you. One of the benefits of watching our services at home live is the ability to connect with God while in your PJ's.
What about Giving?
Each Sunday we'll extend an opportunity for individuals to give online during the service. If you are new to church or watching for the first time, we don't expect you to give. Giving is an opportunity for our regular attenders to respond to God through their generosity while investing in the mission of Garfield Memorial Church.
What about My Kids?
If you are checking out our page for the first time, we'd love to know you were here and connect with you.
