11:17 Prayer- A House of Prayer For All Nations (Mark 11:17)

Lord, as we pray that our church becomes a House of Prayer for All Nations…help us to step into the fullness of who we are in Christ.  Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, we acknowledge we can not do this important work without, your Spirit working in and through us. Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, we have the responsibility as your sons and daughters, to model the Kingdom of Heaven… help us to display this in our hearts, actions and deeds. Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, where there is  racial division, cultural  differences, prejudices In our church body or hearts…help us to emanate unity, forgiveness  and reconciliation.  Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, let Your Kingdom Come and bring heaven to earth in our home, church and Community. Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, make us ambassadors of your  Kingdom, ambassadors that display cultural, political and economic differences. Come Holy Spirit!

Lord, as co-heirs with Christ, help us to be inviting, loving, transparent and welcoming to those You send to build your Kingdom. Come Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen

Broken Bread Ministries

Matthew 4:4 “But he answered, “It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Just as we need God every single day, we need Bread and nourishment every day, and it can be one of the most precious gifts. To break bread and share a meal, to bless someone with food and talk and share and laugh around a table is one of the most beautiful times of the day. This ministry is to expand the table we eat at, to give and bless those with food and the Word. To bring members of our community and our church together and make neighbors into family, to make strangers into friends. This mobile ministry is about preparing food and bringing it to people in need and to share with those in need. We are always looking for helping hands in the kitchen and to help serve and bless all we can.

Second Shirt Ministries

John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”’ – Luke 3:11 (NIV)

Homelessness is an international epidemic, and the homeless are a largely forgotten sector of the population. That is why House of Prayer is happy to announce a new mobile ministry called Second Shirt Ministries. The aim of Second Shirt Ministries is to go out into the city of Cleveland to be the face of Christ and to provide food, clothing, and dignity to these people who have been cast out of society.  Our next mission will be on July 21. You can take part in two ways:

The next opportunity to serve a meal at a local homeless shelter will be on Sept. 9th. We will again be going in to the shelter at 2100 Lakeside in Cleveland and serving food to the residents from 5-7PM. Please note that there is limited space in the kitchen so we will be capping the number of volunteers this time around. Please note therefore that we will need firm commitments for serving in the kitchen. If you would like to have your name on the list but cannot commit, please let me know so I can put you on a tentative list, but if you are going to commit, I ask that you take the commitment seriously.

If God has placed a desire on your heart to serve those less fortunate, please contact  Clayton Papenfus

If you are interested in assisting with food preparation, or donating food, please contact Morgan at

We have provisionally secured September 10th for an instructive lecture on how to effectively engage and listen to a person who is in a homeless situation. The program will probably be held during the House of Prayer service on Monday evening from 7:30pm. We will be having a speaker from 2100 Lakeside who will be running the program. Please let me know if you are interested in taking part so I can get an idea about numbers.

If God has placed a desire on your heart to serve those less fortunate, please contact  Clayton Papenfus
