A Special Christmas Medley by The Mosaic Band
CHURCH@HOMEWORK - January 3, 2021
For our CHURCH@HOMEWORK, you are invited to pray this prayer throughout the month of January (also available as a PDF using button above)
A Covenant Prayer in the Wesleyan Tradition (Contemporary Version)
I am no longer my own, but yours.
Put me to what you will, place me with whom you will.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be put to work for you or set aside for you,
Praised for you or criticized for you.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and fully surrender all things to your glory and service.
And now, O wonderful and holy God,
Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer,
you are mine, and I am yours.
So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
Let it also be made in heaven. Amen.

CHURCH@HOMEWORK - Dec. 20, 2020
Talk with God, talk with one another about giving and reflect on "Presence vs Presents." For families, talk with your kids about giving, why it is important to be generous. Have a discussion with God and any family about how much you are giving to Christmas offering this year because instead of us needing presents, we need to represent God’s presence. You can see the video on Kids Can Thrive ARC Relief Fund here. This is a special initiative born out of our Christmas offering that will be a tangible sign of God’s presence for some extremely hurting kids in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School system.
