A sweet way to invite and share about all our Easter happenings is to give away an invite that's attached to Easter candy! This year we have KitKat Chocolate Bunnies along with marshmallow Peeps. Pick up a few after Sunday worship for random acts of kindness or for that someone you've been meaning to invite to Garfield. Thanks for all you do to Widen our Circle!
Time to Widen the Circle and tell everyone to come to Garfield Church to celebrate the joys of Easter at our annual Pictures with Easter Chicks Community Event on Palm Sunday, March 29th 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. There'll be live baby chicks to hold and take pictures with! Free appetizers, face painting, all ages activities & more! Many hands and warm smiles are needed to greet and serve our greater community. Please contact Flora@GarfieldChurch.org (216.831.1942 ext. 204) to volunteer. Families and groups are welcome to volunteer together. Event morning, please park in the upper overflow lot so we make room for new and more visitors!

Baptism Sunday - April 12
Baptism is every Christian’s entrance into ministry and is the foundation for our life together as members of the body of Christ. Baptism is our public declaration of our faith in God. Even Jesus presented himself for baptism. In baptism we die to life without God (Romans 6:3) and are born anew of water and the Spirit (John 3:3-8). In the United Methodist Church we do not re-baptize because we believe that baptism is a once-made covenant that cannot be repeated. If you have been baptized previously you can reaffirm your baptism.
