Flora connects Garfield Church to the Northeast Ohio community and beyond, through mission-centered activities and relationship building. She buzzes around church waving her hands in worship. Or you may catch her teaching in KidzSpace, taking baptism photos, praying for others with the House of Prayer, or even online leading an exercise small group. Flora brings to the team experience in volunteer development, partnership engagement, diversity bridge-building, signature public community events creation, and leadership presence. She has a Master’s of Nonprofit Administration degree from John Carroll University and a BA from Emory University. Flora is Treasurer & V.P. of Programming at MotivAsians and is also a nonprofit consultant and speaker. Although Cleveland is home, she was born and raised in Philadelphia by Chinese immigrants. Proud to be called God’s child and a cool mom of two sons, her household rally cry is, “Armor Up and be God’s Salt & Light!” (Eph 6:10 & Matt 5:13)
