Book of the Month will recommend a book on prayer each month with several copies circulating at both of our campuses. We will invite folks to read the recommended book and, on completed, invite someone else who is open to learning about prayer and keeping the book moving. There will be book reviews and a chance to share your thoughts around the book. Email your reviews/thoughts/questions to prayeronthepage@garfieldchurch.org.
"This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people." Jeremiah 31:33
There is a direct connection between the degree to which our minds are shaped by Scripture and the degree to which our prayers are answered.
Jesus said, “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:17
“This the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds an write it on their hears. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33
